Clarity before more features.
You may know the frustration without knowing the right solution. Or you may have a list of features and need help deciding which ones actually belong in the product.
PharettaLabs helps connect the user’s job, the business objective, and the practical cost of building. An engagement can stand on its own or prepare a development project.
- Shape an early application idea into a focused first version.
- Review an existing experience and identify its biggest points of friction.
- Prioritize a roadmap when requests exceed the available time or budget.
- Connect acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing product use.
Leave with something you can use.
The deliverables depend on the decision you need to make. They can include a problem definition, a map of the current experience, prioritized requirements, a prototype, a phased roadmap, or a brief ready to discuss with a development partner.
We separate what is known from what still needs validation. A useful recommendation should show the reasoning, assumptions, constraints, and the next question to test.
A product principle in practice.
Punch List started as a way to add groceries through Siri. As it grew, the product challenge became deciding how to support more household needs without turning it into a complicated project-management tool.
That story illustrates the kind of judgment we bring to consulting: keep a clear audience, understand the repeated job, and use feedback to decide which features deserve a place.
Senior involvement, directly.
You work with John Strommen. His background spans product development, SEO, and marketing at companies including Redfin, RentGroup, and Walgreens, alongside building and operating the PharettaLabs products.
We agree a consulting scope around the decision or deliverable, rather than assuming every engagement needs a full build. Consulting is priced separately from the studio’s $10,000 minimum for build projects.
Before discovery begins.
Can you help if we already have a development team?
Yes. A focused brief, experience review, or prioritized roadmap can support an existing team. We agree how the findings will be handed over.
Do you validate ideas with customers?
We can scope interviews, feedback sessions, or prototype testing when appropriate. The engagement should specify who will participate and what evidence is needed.
Can we start with consulting and build later?
Yes. Discovery can define the direction and scope before either side commits to development.
